All the mortar/cement is mixed by hand, as needed
Yes, the side retaining wall is very thick as shown...80cm
...it will narrow down to 40cm, just a little way further when it isn't required to support so much side ground from the neighboring lots
...and we still have a lot of rocks left. Just think of the saving in material costs for the retaining walls
BTW, look closely to see a line just above waist height. That will be the bottom of the house floor level, another 30cm for the top of the floor. Might need to increase the magnification.
