February 15, 2023 - Ceiling started, Stairs and Walkway continue
Yay! - the bricks came in and they are working on the boveda ceiling
Probably take about 3 weeks or so to complete
Metal cross pieces give a slight curve to the bricks while setting
...after that it's gravity. When the ceiling is complete they come back and "wash" the dust off
the bricks and re-check the pointing. Finally, the beams are painted -
not sure what color
yet; likely black or
dark brown
The boveda pattern extends through the overhang
Will use a traditional tile roof over the covering seal layer to the top side of the ceiling

The walkway to the mirador will be the width of the open sections of the sliding doors, ~3m

The left-to-right footers define the walkway width from the house to the mirador.
The footer perpendicular to it, to the bottom-left corner of the picture
is for the house "porch" and stairs from it, to the west-side pathway

The opening of the 2 sliding doors will be approximately 3m to a landing/porch area
approx. 1.2m deep that the walkway will connect to going to the mirador
