March 01, 2023 - More Work on Ceiling, Stairs and Walkway
More progress on the boveda ceiling
Boveda ceiling in the rear entrance
Using a simpler pattern in the rear extension where the entrance, laundry and pantry are.
Saves some costs on the bricks and labor, and still looks good
More bricks, please!
Unloading by throwing bricks to a couple of catchers, 5 at a time, makes it go fast.
Stairway and landings are mostly formed
I still have to decide on final surface "finish" to top them off
...And a side view
Trench will have a "french dain" type water diversion installed and then be filled in
The walkway area will be filled in, and surfaced
The porch and walkway will likely be surfaced to match the stairs,
but may be slightly different for some accent and contrast
