Roof cement top layer complete and leveled
Back extension completed and a smooth leveling coat applied over all the roof.
There will be a final thin water proofing layer added and the "ends" of the roof overhangs
will be bricked and sealed to cover the metal beams before the roof tiles are installed.
East retaining wall in-progress
We're going with a two level step-down, rather than original three.
Another layer of blocks to be added to the nearest section before the header.
Normal ground slope is not really that high
The neighboring lot height is not nearly as high as it looks. Most of that is
excavated from my lot and the level will be returned to the original at some point.
The retaining wall will extend to the corner of the stairway
The ground level on my side of the retaining wall will also be quite a bit higher when filled
in.
After the drainage pipes to the register, etc. are in place. View is from bedroom window.
Channels for the electrical runs; Ceiling lights and wall switches
No easy drilling holes in wood studs or cutting into drywall.
Kitchen and Laundry 3-way switch clusters needs a couple pipes
All the piping channels will have metal mesh over them before the mortar is applied
Register for the laundry area in the back extension
There will be a small washtub nearest the door way then the washer and dryer.
