July 27, 2023 - Closet Plaster, Lower Level Roof
Closet used as trial for plaster approval
Floor was raised to appropriate level, except final tile layer, and cemented.
Walls plastered with texture selected to ensure a full room test wouldn't change my mind.
Gaps and holes filled and plastered
There was a gap from top block row to curve in boveda ceiling filled in with brick and
mortar.
Replaced missing blocks used to put steel beams through the wall and lay planks over as a
scaffold. All good now. FYI, plaster layer is 1.5 - 2.0cm as needed to get
straigt and smooth.
Placing the beams and slabs for lower level roof
Got the beams placed so slabs will fit from beam to walls where uncovered area is now.
The two beams in each "row" will be welded together with a side plate for more stability.
Rough placement of the center rows slabs
All the slabs could be in place, trimmed and sliced as needed, by the end of next week.
If all goes well and weather permits, maybe even the cement top coat...it is rainy season
now.
