The cross on the workshop wall celebrates el Dia de Santa Cruz (Day of the Holy Cross)
on May 3, a celebration for construction workers. The cross usually stays up for weeks.
And that's where the Cistern is going to be installed.
It's going to be under the floor of the "utility room", with an access hatch
to the top lid of the cistern when required for service. A long way to go with the hole, yet.
Roof is getting closer to completion
The ends are bricked and plastered over the steel beams and final slope and edge shaping
before the seal coat is applied. Some delay from when a couple of the roof guys got
covid.
The last side to be finished before the sealer is applied
After the roof is done, they will replace the bricks they knocked out
of the wall everywhere for the scaffolding support.
Tubing for the electrical runs in the kitchen
... and light and recepticle boxes. Also, grooves cut for the plumbing and gas lines.
Too late to change my mind on locations now!
