July 6, 2023 - Cistern, Drainage, Miscellaneous
Multiple weeks included here. A lot of things that were done were not very "visual"
A big, deep hole for the cistern
Cistern in place and filled with water
Cistern has a 20cm mesh reinforced concrete base that it was placed on.
Determining the placement of the beams for the floor
Filling in around the cistern with a lightweight cement mix like the roof used; done in layers
Concrete slabs slide into the beams
The room floor will have a hatch above the cistern lid for access to fill & clean
Digging for the lot corner wall foundation
Lot corner wall for the electrical meter, internet cables and anchor for the garage gate

The propane tank will also hide behind there about 1m in from the property line

Done enough for now to get the retaining wall that extends to the lot line finished.
The drain pipe will feed through that hole in the bottom and then backfill on the
other side

Miscellaneous
Roof has had the final seal coat applied. East retaining wall was back-filled.
House electrical box placed and electrical floor runs have been cemented over
to keep from being damaged during other work.
