March 23, 2023 - Ceiling nearly finished, Lower Level Walls

Changed window to be front and door to side...and to have three 40cm square windows, instead of one large one in the gap shown, and the windows will be placed high on the wall (top of window, to top of door) so a few more brick layers are needed

The room will also be used for storage (about 60% of area), so smaller
30cm square windows will
be installed to make them too small to get through

The area between the stairs and house foundation, and along the sides of the house until the rear extension will be the only area with any grass. Small enough not to need a lawn mower.
Ceiling almost complete!
Just the front overhang and about 50% of the rear extension left to do.
Then after a few days, the "slurry" type mix on top for a sealer - about 5cm thick.
Of course, they will have to restore my living area "picture" window
The left window is in the kitchen area. As viewed, the left side will be where the sink is,
and the right side is at the end of the breakfast bar

About the width of the distance between the retaining wall and the top of the garden stairs,
all the way to the other side of the lot. The rest of the yard above will be the
"recreation" area and rock garden (no grass)...at least that's the plan for now.
