The scaffold is setup to put the header on that door next.
Bathroom shower walls
The interior was feeling left out of the action, so we had to do something.
The toilet will be installed to the right of the shower.
Slurry sealer applied over the boveda bricks
The electrical "tubing" for the ceiling lights, etc. are in place.
Won't run the wires through until later.
Roofing cement preparation
Put blocks at the end of the beams, then a thick, but light-weight concrete mix
(porous stone) is filled to the top of the roof beams...about 4 inches thick.
Yes, that does look like something burned
There was a brush fire on the 25th, no damage to my house, or injuries to the workers
Cleared out the brush on the two abandoned lots to the west
Those lots will make a nice dog park now that the underbrush is cleared
A few hours work with the machete and pick-axe & we're good-to-go
...after the first good rain to get rid of the ashes
Fire on the other side of the association boundary wall
...just to the west of my property line. This is shortly before it jumped the north wall.

After it jumped the north boundary wall, it burned all the underbrush away
in the next two lots all the way to the association boundary wall on the west side.
Fire to the east, too
This is a few lots down the road to the east. It looked like it burned quite a few empty lots
and also on the farm side, before the fire department was able to put it out. Rumor was that
somebody tried to burn out some hornet nests and the fire obviously got away from them.
