December 28, 2023 - Garage Wall, Inside Plaster, Big Hole
Short weeks, last and next, for the holiday season...still some progress will be made.
Hole for the bio-digester septic tank has been dug
Expect delivery of the unit next week, after New Year's day
Overhead view...
The PVC pipe along the garden retaining wall to the left of the hole will be
used for the water line in from the street; not installed yet.
Hole is about 1.8m deep
5 gallon bucket used as a step to get out of the hole.
Still have to level and do ground prep for the base.
Retaining wall complete (almost)
Propane tank (300L) will be in that corner by the entrance for an easy refill.
Electrical will come in to a pole there as well...then underground the rest of the way
...will add another layer of block to that left section of the wall
Hence, almost complete...just a little too close to the ground slope for that last section
Filled in behind the retaining wall
Retaining wall is 30cm thick. The garage wall will be built on the inner 18cm. First phase will build
the garage wall to the same extent of the workshop wall seen on the left...but no roof
Working to finish the inside plaster in the kitchen...
